Our Mission
The mission of The New Classical Academy is to provide a classical education in a hands-on environment where students master concept as well as content, develop the internal motivation to become lifelong learners, discover the value of intellectual and social collaboration, and enjoy coming to school every day.

Our Inspiration
The New Classical Academy was founded in 2006 by Kate Hyde and Kelly Homolka, educators who had a vision for bringing the benefits their own children drew from homeschooling--internal motivation, imaginative play, multi-age collaboration, individualized work flow, hands-on learning, extended outdoor time, and fun--into a more structured classroom setting shaped by the principles of a classical education.
